Amie Alley Pollack, PhD

Director of Research, Technology Enabled Education for Community Health and Investing in Primary Care projects

Amie Alley Pollack, PhD, serves as Director of Research for the Technology Enabled Education for Community Health (TEECH) project in the Program in Global Primary Health Care at the Harvard Medical School Office for Research Initiatives and Global Programs, and she is co-Principle Investigator of the Investing in Primary Care project at the Department of Health Care Policy. Her research focuses on innovations to improve access and outcomes in underserved and rural communities across the United States, leveraging investment to strengthen primary care, and primary care behavioral health integration. Amie previously served as Director of Research at the HMS Center for Primary Care, where she shaped the Center’s strategic research priorities, led its research portfolio, mentored students and junior researchers, and expanded partnerships. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Research Associate at Vanderbilt University, working for more than 10 years in Southeast Asia to expand mental health research, services, and training programs in partnership with governments, universities, and international organizations. Her work in SE Asia was initially supported by a Global Health Postdoctoral Scientist Award from the Fogarty International Center. Amie earned her PhD and MA in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, and a BS in Psychology and Literature from the College of William and Mary.
