About

Kalaniyot is a faculty-driven initiative established in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, by academics who recognized a renewed responsibility to preserve universities as inclusive and welcoming environments for students and scholars of all backgrounds.

This initiative brings together a growing network of efforts aimed at reaffirming higher education’s mission to advance knowledge through the free exchange of ideas. Kalaniyot focuses on rebuilding and sustaining international academic collaboration, particularly between Israeli and U.S.-based biomedical research communities.

Kalaniyot at HMS is an official chapter of the Kalaniyot Foundation.
