
Dru Ricci
Dru Ricci is a research assistant at the Program in Global Primary Health Care at the Harvard Medical School Office for Research Initiatives and Global Programs, where she supports multi-phase research projects focused on strengthening primary care systems and advancing health equity. As the lead research assistant on several initiatives, Dru oversees study design, data synthesis, and stakeholder-facing deliverables, while also providing mentorship and support to junior researchers. Her work bridges qualitative and quantitative methods, with a strong emphasis on policy relevance and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Dru holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Global Health from Duke University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health in Health Policy at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her academic and professional interests center on health care economics and Medicaid policy, with a particular focus on payment reform, access equity, and the sustainability of safety-net systems. She is passionate about translating complex policy concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences and is committed to evidence-based solutions that address systemic inequities in health care delivery.
