Juliana Lawrence is a senior resident physician in Internal Medicine–Pediatrics and Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. She earned her MD from the Yale School of Medicine and, as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, completed an MMSc in Global Affairs. She is currently pursuing an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Juliana brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, policy research, and program development to her work. She is a core member of the StITCH Project, advancing primary care–based models for hepatitis care in Vietnam and the Philippines. Her prior research includes assessing national vaccination policy at Yale and examining biotechnology innovation and access to medicines in China at Tsinghua. As part of her Global Health Equity residency, she collaborated with Partners In Health in Rwanda to implement silicosis screening for miners and advocate for worker protections, while also teaching medical students at the University of Global Health Equity. Her academic interests include health systems strengthening and capacity building prioritizing advocacy and accompaniment.
